Terry started in the construction industry in 1976. He completed a four year carpentry apprenticeship where he went on to hold various superintendent  positions with several local contractors in southern Idaho.

Housing was always his passion and in 1991, he started Rotert Construction. With his involvement with the Homebuilder’s Association and participation, Terry earned recognition as Home Builder of the year in 2002.

After moving to Sandpoint in 2004, he has continued his passion for building. Terry has built numerous custom homes in all sizes and price ranges. He has also built numerous garages and additions.

Terry has a hands-on approach to building. He has found the only way to ensure a quality home is to be on the job supervising and working directly with the best possible subcontractors. Their teamwork creates the best product.
